A cheque for $5100.00 was presented by Prairie Knights event organizer Garry Maier to Camp President John Marshall.   The roof has been repaired with metal and color is matched with other camp buildings.

Spread the Word

KEEPING CHRIST IN CHRISTMAS

Council 8215 is busy spreading the word of Keeping Christ In Christmas. Our Council has reached out to the Emergency Wellness Center in Fairhaven with a Nativity Display. The STC welcomed the Knights into the Center and are delighted with us being there. There are over 100 homeless relatives/guests in the center.

Our council also reached out to Mark Arcand and Saskatoon Tribal Council Staff offering support with food , clothing, etc. Especially an urgent need for the homeless with winter ahead.

The picture above shows Shawn Scherr , Dave Harder, Wellness Center homeless Guest, STC staff, Dean Willenborg, Dean’s daughter and Dan Bittner.

Council 8215 has been busy selling Nativity scenes . With the help of a hi tec router we produced and sold over 100 sets. We delivered many to home owners, condo owners, non catholic churches and Quadalupe House. KC Councils in Prince Albert and Humboldt sold for us. This year we were a little more aggressive with marketing plus an early start helped us be successful.

The picture shows brother Knight Dan Bittner making a delivery to a delighted home owner. She truly welcomed the message from the Knights.

Thank you Garry Maier for taking the pictures.
